Germany's largest hybrid event for Building Information Modeling and digital construction is coming to NRW in 2023. On October 12, the BIM Conference WEST will take place at the ZESS Research Center of the Ruhr University Bochum. This will be hybridly linked with the BIM Capital Congress at the Brandenburg Gate and will focus entirely on "BIM made in NRW".

The conference offers leading companies and representatives from government, administration and research the opportunity to show how far digital networking has already come and opens up a space for numerous discussions. The focus will be on innovation and solutions used by companies, businesses and administration to overcome a range of challenges in planning, construction and operation with BIM and digital tools. As the conceptual partner of the BIM Conference West, Prof. Markus König, Chair of Computer Science in Civil Engineering, and René Schumann, HOCHTIEF ViCon, will lead through the program.
