From September 6 to 8, 2023, the Forum Bauinformatik will take place at the Research Center ZESS of the Ruhr-University Bochum. Over three days, young scientists will present and discuss their research.
The Forum Bauinformatik has been held annually since 1989 and covers all areas of construction informatics.

From 06 to 08 September 2023, the 34th Forum Bauinformatik will take place at the Ruhr-Universität. The forum comes to Bochum for the fourth time. This time at the research center Center for the Engineering of Smarter Product-Service Systems (ZESS), which is used as another location of the Ruhr-Universität since October 2021.

During the FBI, young scientists from the field of construction informatics meet annually to present and discuss their research.

Current topics in building informatics are: Semantic Web and Linked Building Data, Building Information Modelling, AI and Machine Learning, Robotics, Sustainability, Visualization and Management.
