Congratulations to Jan M. Weber on the successful defence of his dissertation on ‘Rule-based semi-automatically generated building sequences based on 3D building information models’!

His dissertation deals with approaches for optimising building sequences using BIM models. He is developing a rule-based process that enables the semi-automatic generation of building sequences based on BIM models in order to make the construction process more efficient and resource-saving. This research is a contribution to digitalisation in the construction industry and to optimising execution.
