Markus König held a presentation titled “From Data to Decisions: Artificial Intelligence Shaping the Future of the Construction Industry”, underscoring how AI-driven methods are rapidly transforming project efficiency and long-term structural performance at the 17th International Conference on Concrete Engineering and Technology (CONCET) at the University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Held every two years, the conference continues to be a meeting point for engineers, researchers and industry professionals from around the world. Under this year’s theme, “Advancing Concrete Construction: Sustainability, Integrity, and Artificial Intelligence for Smarter Built Environments”, the emphasis was placed on new perspectives regarding environmentally friendly technology, sustainable materials and robust structures, as well as on the maintenance and repair of concrete structures.
