BIMBreitband

Within the innovation project BIMBroadband, the focus is on revolutionizing the digital support for approval procedures, as well as preceding and subsequent approval and coordination processes within the German broadband expansion. Leveraging advanced digital concepts such as Building Information Modeling (BIM), the project aims to significantly accelerate broadband expansion by effectively utilizing digital models, simultaneously enhancing the availability of high-speed internet. Special attention is given to the comprehensive involvement of all relevant stakeholders, along with the seamless integration of digital three-dimensional existing and planning models. The objective is to enable transparent communication and efficient decision-making.

The BIMBroadband project is funded through the mFUND innovation initiative by the Federal Ministry of Digital and Transport (BMDV).
