Camunda

As part of the teaching of the Building Information Modeling course, students use Camunda in their project work to define and execute processes in BPMN 2.0. Their task is to create a BIM execution plan (BAP) based on the given client information requirements (AIA).

The individual use cases and process steps as well as planning, communication, and data exchange processes will be modeled with Camunda. The goal is to guarantee increased project management and facilitated exchange between stakeholders.

Through the process models, precise work instructions are visualized and delineated to the individual responsible parties. In addition, task packages are created and milestones are set for checking compliance with which decision-making and coordination points (gateways) are modeled.
The result is a transparent and uniform understanding of the process between all participants.
