Indoor Localization for the Construction Industry

Finding out where you are in a building is easy. But robots, drones, and augmented reality devices lack this ability, despite relying on spatial information. My area of research is the development of localization methods using deep learning, so that referencing spatial information becomes possible. A reliable and accurate localization would allow interfacing directly with digital twins, and enable indoor navigation for users and fully autonomous robots.
